The Miron cedar sauna is a custom design concept in which the natural grain of solid wood becomes an integral part of the architecture and unique carved decor. Live-edge wall elements preserve the organic lines of the timber, while illuminated decorative details continue its natural patterns, transforming the cedar surfaces into an expressive composition.

The space is organized around substantial U-shaped benches that create a cohesive area for sauna bathing and relaxation. Their natural contours reinforce the distinctive character of the cedar sauna interior. The heater area occupies a central position and is visually integrated into the wooden composition. A dark floor enhances the contrast and emphasizes the warm tones of the natural cedar.

Concealed lighting follows the contours of the decorative elements and runs beneath the benches, adding depth and highlighting the relief of the wood. In the Miron concept, a luxury cedar sauna is defined not by excessive decoration, but by the quality of solid timber, handcrafted details, organic forms and custom architectural elements.

U-Shaped Layout and Solid Wood Benches

Live-Edge Benches — Natural Contours of Solid Cedar

Substantial benches are arranged in a U-shaped configuration, creating a cohesive composition along several sides of the sauna. This layout unifies the space and makes the wooden surfaces a defining architectural element of the interior.

The live edge preserves the natural contours of the timber, including its characteristic irregularities and individual grain patterns. Instead of perfectly straight decorative lines, the design follows the organic forms of solid wood, giving each element its own character and emphasizing the individuality of this designer cedar sauna.

Central Heater Area — Part of the Overall Composition

The heater area is positioned within the U-shaped bench composition and becomes one of the visual focal points of the project. Its central location connects the functional sauna area with the architecture of the substantial wooden surfaces.

The dark flooring further defines this zone and creates a striking contrast with the warm texture of the cedar. At the same time, the heater does not appear as an isolated element but is visually integrated into the overall Miron composition.

In Miron, the natural cedar grain is integrated into custom carved wall details. Handcrafting allows the design to follow the organic lines of the timber while preserving the individuality of each element. As a result, the cedar sauna interior is built around the beauty and structure of the material itself rather than decorative finishes that conceal its natural character.

Concealed Lighting — Illuminated Carved Decor and Benches

The contour lighting is integrated so that the light sources do not become separate visual elements. Soft illumination emphasizes the lines of the carved decor, the natural relief of the walls and the organic contours of the solid cedar.

Additional concealed lighting beneath the benches visually separates the substantial wooden structures from the dark floor and creates a greater sense of depth. As a result, the Miron cedar sauna changes its character depending on the lighting scenario: with brighter illumination, the natural grain of the wood comes to the foreground, while softer lighting emphasizes its relief, contours and custom carved patterns.
